Bangkok: August 19, 2015, after a blast killed over 20 people with at least 125 injured on Aug. 17, 2015 at the Erawan shrine, Ratchaprasong Road, the shrine is reopened.

On August 19, 2015, at 8.00 am., 5 Thai-Buddhist monks led prayers during the morning for reopening ceremony of the shrine. Many of Thais and foreign tourists were attending the ceremony with some flowers and incense sticks just in front of a little damaged statute of the Erawan shrine.

Sanya Cheenimitr , Permanent Secretary of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration said that he has inspected through the area and service by cooperation of police with 24-hour guarding.
