Groups of animals are called in different words, which sometimes are commonly heard.
For example a pack of hounds, several packs of wolves or three schools of fish.

MThai English has done a bit of research about common collective nouns used for animals sounded mind-blowing. Here are some examples of common collective nouns used for animals.

#2 A flock of birds ‘ฝูงนก’
#3 A flock of sheep ‘ฝูงแกะ’ Baa-Ram-Eew
#4 A herd of deer ‘ฝูงกวาง’
#5 A hive of bees ‘ฝูงผึ้ง หรือผึ้งรังหนึ่ง’
#6 A litter of puppies ‘ลูกสุนัขครอกหนึ่ง’
Here is also a litter of CUTES ‘อีกครอกหนึ่งที่น่ารักน่าชัง’
Awwwwwwwwwww, a litter of fluffiness. ‘ปุกปุยอีกครอกหนึ่ง’
#7 A murder of crows [Ouch!! murder?] ‘ฝูงกา’
#8 A swarm of locusts ‘ฝูงตั๊กแตน’
#9 A team of horses [ha ha, yeah right, a good team] ‘ฝูงม้า’
#10 A pride of lions ‘ฝูงสิงโต (แห่งผาทรนง)’
